Location
Sea Spray Villas located right on the ocean in a quiet village in St. Lucy, Barbados. The location is ideal for accessing everything on the West Coast of Barbados including luxury shopping at Limegrove in Holetown, the spa at Port Ferdinand, and more. Speightstown is also 2 miles away with banks, grocery store and duty free shopping. We recommend renting a car for your stay. Steps from the Villa is the renowned Fish Pot restaurant and authentic local eateries such as Braddies bar, fish frys and uncrowded beaches as well as your own private access to the sea.
The Property
The house is located right on the ocean. Guests renting either Villa share private access down short set of steps to the sea. This is an excellent spot for swimming and snorkeling. A resident turtle and many fish can often be seen. Fantastic sunsets can be seen from both the terrace and balcony and many of our guests enjoy spending the late afternoon hours overlooking the sparkling sea.
Getting Here
Rental Car
We would be happy to arrange a rental car for you. Typically a representative from the rental company will meet you at arrivals and show you to your car. Please note Barbados is right-hand drive.
Taxi/Private Car
We recommend renting a car to explore the island, but if you choose not to, we can arrange a taxi or private transfer for you from the airport to Sea Spray Villas. Taxis have fixed fees posted at the airport. We can also arrange a private car and driver to collect you from the airport.
Parking
There are two spots for exclusive use of Sea Spray Villas guests. One spot is allocated to each Villa. If you rent the entire house, you have use of both spots.
We recommend that the smaller of the two cars is parked in the right hand spot as you are facing the house from the road. The left hand spot leaves a little more room for larger cars.
Local Buses
There are several buses that run from Sea Spray Villas south to Speightstown, Holetown and all the beaches/attractions along the West Coast. The cost is $3.50 BDS (they do not accept foreign currency). You'll notice that the government buses are blue, privately owned mini buses are yellow, and privately owned ZR (pronounced Zed-R) are white. These buses can be quite an experience.
